Four decades ago, Dr. Gail Weingast embarked on an extraordinary journey in the medical field. Armed with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University, she continued her education at Boston University’s School of Medicine, graduating in 1976. Her career has spanned multiple hospitals in Colorado, New York, and Connecticut. In Connecticut, she has dedicated almost two decades of her career, continuously evolving in her role. Her most recent and notable achievement is her position as Chief of Breast Imaging at the William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich.
